During this week, colleges across the country are holding a day(s) of events to discuss post-Katrina social conditions and to support the Xavier and Tulane students, who will hold a "Jazz Funeral for the death of Apathy" in the French Quarter and a "second line" for the Gulf Coast Civic Works Project.  The Gulf Coast Civic Works Project is the national effort to develop federal legislation to create 100,000 jobs for Gulf Coast residents to rebuild their communities.  Email Congress today: click here.  Also, you can sign the Petition on-line: click here.
